The Olympia Splendid 33 and 66, crafted in the 1960s by Olympia Werke in West Germany, are robust, mid-century typewriters known for their ergonomic design. The compact Splendid 33 was ideal for portability, while the larger Splendid 66 offered additional features like a tabulator and a two-colour ribbon. Both models, encased in bold-coloured metal bodies, embody the sleek aesthetics of their era. with COVID-19 making a grand appearance after ordering this item, tracking and shipping and the whole nine yards was very spotty here and there because of living in the us, nevertheless the folks at el granero displayed great communication throughout the whole shipping and receiving process where they could, the product itself was immaculate and the 2 & 1/2 boxes plus wrap that ensured the products shipping safety was greatly appreciated... i had a dilemma with one of the screws preventing the carriage from moving and they made sure everything worked and maintained excellent communication when they could and now the carriage works after receiving information about how to fix it and it types beautifully... the keys were oiled and everything works just fine now.. thanks again for the excellent customer service!!!!
