Ballard, Harlan Ellison, Neil Simon, and Paul Auster, this particular typewriter has a fascinating history. Manufactured in Wilhelmshaven, a coastal town in Lower Saxony, Germany, it traveled to New York before finally being found in Costa del Sol, Spain.
