We follow a meticulous multi-step process:

1. Our team of experts meticulously assesses each machine, conducting a detailed inspection. Every machine gets a thorough inspection and deep chemical cleaning to remove rust, old grease, and debris.
   
2. If needed, worn or damaged parts (like a hard platen or old rubber feet) are replaced with original or high-quality new components. Broken keys, levers or gears are repaired or replaced to ensure smooth operation.
   
3. We touch up or repaint the exterior as needed, matching the original colour and replacing faded decals so the typewriter looks as good as it types. Sometimes we professionally repaint typewriters to make them look like new.
   
4. Finally, we carefully reassemble and test every typewriter to make sure all keys, carriage, and ribbons work perfectly. This attention to detail by our staff means each typewriter works flawlessly and looks great.
