The typewriter is exactly as you see in the pictures, I was a bit nervous when buying an expensive product but I had no need to worry. They had taken care of packing the typewriter and I have never been so happy with the product, the typewriter works like it's new and I have been using it non-stop, a fabulous place to purchase x
Ordered a 1970s Hermes Baby as I've wanted one for some time now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The restoration job is excellent, and it functions almost like it was brand new. All of the key action feels smooth and tight, making it a pleasure to type on. And there are barely any scratches or other signs of age/wear.
The folks at El Granero are wonderful to work with too. The shipping took a bit longer than expected, but Ania was extremely responsive to my inquiries and was able to make some adjustments to the shipping method while it was in transit that helped minimize the shipping delay. Speaking of the delivery, the typewriter was very well packed in multiple layers of boxes and bubble wrap.
I would definitely buy another typewriter from El Granero when I am ready to add to my collection.

I have finally received my Hermes Baby this week, it is absolutely beautiful, not a scratch to be seen anywhere, it is in perfect working order, and was packaged so it could survive the Apocalypse if need be! There were unexpected complications in having it delivered to Moscow, but Ania and ... were very considerate and efficient along the way, and managed to send it to me at last to Rome like champs.
