The Triumph Contessa is a charming manual vintage typewriter from the early 1970s. Likely inspired by the Olivetti Valentine, which was launched a few years earlier, as well as the broader design trends of the era, the Contessa stands out on its own and doesn't feel like a mere imitation.
Triumph, a German brand, was the first to mass-produce typewriters in the country, starting in 1898. The company originally began in 1886, manufacturing bicycles and automobiles.
