This particular model was manufactured in 1954.
German Gossen Tippa is known for its portability, it's really flat and small. In 1948, P. Gossen GmbH of Erlangen, West Germany, began production of the Tippa, a travelling typewriter much smaller than those being manufactured by other typewriter companies.
Till today it's one of th finest travelling typers :)
All of our typewriters are serviced by an experienced former Olivetti technician :)
Refurbished, clean, oiled, in a full working condition. There are some scratches and paint is chipped in a few places, but the overall aspect is very good (additional photos available on request).

We always install a new ribbon prior to shipping so your typewriter will be ready to use the minute you unpack it. If you need more of them, you can purchase them in our shop (check Ribbon and Accessories section) , we have them always available.
They can be also easily found on our Ebay or Amazon.
Ribbons last a long time unless you're typing constantly. If you type forty or sixty pages a week, you have to change the ribbon once a year or so (with new Original Pelikan ribbon you can write 500 pages easily)
So if all you're doing is casual correspondence you shouldn't have too much to worry about there.
