According to British Consumers' Association Report on Portable Typewriters, in the December 1962 edition of "Which?" magazine, Splendid 33 was the best buy because it was - "Light, small, cheap and very well made". It was designed for Olympia Werke in Wilhelmshaven, West Germany, in the 1960s.

Very well packed, and in perfect condition. Even the case looks new. The only downside is that the keyboard is a Spanish qwerty and not a German qwertz like shown on the pictures. Which means it doesnt have all the necessary accents I use to write in French. But that's my mistake, El Granero specified in the description it was a qwerty keyboard. I should have paid more attention. It's not a big deal, those writing are for myself and I do lots of typos anyway, so more spelling mistakes won't be such a big issue.
Amazing!! Typewriter is fantastic and the delivery to Australia was very fast. Easy to deal with, would definitely buy here again.
