Olivetti ICO MP1 Original Black Typewriter, Vintage, Professionally Serviced

Olivetti started producing its MP1 (Modello Portatile 1) in 1932. This is better known as the 'Ico', an acronym for 'Ingegnere Camillo Olivetti' - the founder of Olivetti. Aldo Magnielli designs the MP1 in stylized Art Deco. If you are looking for a small, really portable and unique vintage typewriter, Olivetti Ico is definitely for you!
One of the smallest and most reliable typewriters. It was only taken out of production in 1950. By that time, 139,706 had been made in black, red, grey and brown - plus a few other colours (such as sky-blue) ordered by special clients.
Its production started in 1932. As far as I could check, it was produced in Italy, although no label can be found on the typewriter or the case.
