Welcome to our Typewriter Repair Shop! We offer expert restoration and repair services for all types of typewriters. Please read the following instructions carefully to understand our process and policies.

Payment and Shipping

1. Advance Payment:

• An initial payment of €50 is required in advance before you drop off your typewriter or we pick it up in our zone. 
• This payment covers initial basic cleaning services + revision and will be adjusted based on additional services required.

2. Additional Charges:

• Additional services such as repair, cleaning, alignment, restoration, and parts replacement will incur separate charges after revision and cleaning. Client agreement is required before starting these services and it will be charged after the typewriter has been inspected and serviced.

3. Shipping Costs:

• Clients are responsible for all shipping costs to and from our shop.
• We will ship the typewriter back to you once full payment is received.

4. Payment Deadline:

• Full payment must be completed within 7 days after services are finished to ensure prompt return shipping 
• The typewriter will be shipped back to the client within a maximum of 10 days after full payment is received

Ribbon Replacement: from €25

• Initial Inspection: Assess the typewriter's condition and current ribbon.
• Removal and Installation: Remove old ribbon, wind new ribbon on spools, and install.
• Functionality Test: Ensure proper printing and spool advancement.

Repair: from €50

• Diagnosis: Identify issues or malfunctions.
• Repair Proposal: Present solutions and budget.
• Repair and Final Check: Use original or compatible parts and ensure perfect functionality.

Cleaning: from €50

• Initial Disassembly: Access all areas by removing essential parts.
• Deep Cleaning and Lubrication: Use specialized tools and apply lubricants.
• Reassembly: Reassemble and test functionality.

Alignment: from €25

• Evaluation and Adjustment: Detect and correct misalignment.
• Calibration and Verification: Ensure precise typing and test various functions.

Restoration: from €100

• Comprehensive Evaluation: Assess overall condition.
• Complete Disassembly and Repair: Thorough restoration and part replacement.
• Reassembly and Testing: Reassemble, apply finishes, and verify all functions.

Parts Replacement: from €25

• Diagnosis and Sourcing: Identify and source original or compatible parts.
• Installation and Testing: Replace parts and ensure correct functionality.

Warranty

• We offer a warranty ranging from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the service, model, and age of the typewriter.

Brands and Models

• We work with all brands and models, including Olivetti, Erika, Olympia, Hermes, and many more.

Taxes and Invoices

• Legal invoices are available upon request.
• Prices do not include 21% IVA.
• 0% VAT is available for clients registered in the VIES database and for clients outside the EU.
